Aude sapere!
And, much love from New Zealand.
The following is a fantastic and encouraging contribution to homeopathy from the one and only Jessica Lacorte who is based in South Australia.

As a new homeopath, I was nervous about hosting my first event to share the wonders of homeopathy with my community.
“There is so much to say, where do I even start?”
Introducing Homeopathy - the film
Introducing Homeopathy is a brilliant documentary which couldn’t have been released in a better time.
It was like finding a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration.

I screened it in my hometown in country South Australia on June 1st, and it was a huge success!
Renting a room with a projector from a private college was easy.
I printed out few ads for the event and put them around town.
I also sent personalized messages with a link to the trailer to my contacts, and some clients brought their friends, making up a portion of the attendees.
I provided refreshments and asked for a $5 fee, with proceeds donated to the HRI in London.
I prepared a short presentation about myself and homeopathy's current state in Australia.
Although I was a little nervous, I knew the documentary would do the hard work for me.
We had an audience of over 20 people, and at the end of the doco one participant even asked, "When can I book in?"
The documentary inspired lively discussions and questions.
I was deeply touched by a client's heartfelt testimonial at the end of the presentation - an unexpected moment of pure joy.
I gained around 10 new clients, with potential for more.
I highly recommend this documentary to everyone and encourage you to support its creators by following them on social media and sharing their work.
Jessica shows us how easy it is to host a screening of Introducing Homeopathy !
There are many reasons to consider hosting a screening for your communities who deserve to have the truth of homeopathy presented to them!
Thanks so much to Jessica for spreading the word, engaging her community, growing her practice, and inspiring me to also host a screening in my neck of the woods too!
-
Actually, this reminds me that in 2017 I too hosted a screening of the homeopathy documentary ‘Just One Drop’ selling over 80 tickets in an Australian outback town without a cinema, in much the same easy way Jessica has outlined for us.
Introducing Homeopathy - the film
‘‘Come together with a team of award winning producers and accredited journalists to tell Homeopathy’s story. Through interviews with some of the leading minds in the Homeopathic and greater scientific fields, case studies of Homeopathic success stories supported by scientific methods, and explorations of the latest research, technology and state-of-the-art manufacturing of Homeopathic medicines, they reveal the true power of Homeopathy.’’
If you host or have hosted a screening please let us know!
Peer-to-peer is still an excellent way to exchange knowledge and empower each other! P.S. this is not an endorsement of this doco from me as I have yet to actually watch it.
Thanks Jessica for sharing your good works with us all!
AND, if you want more inspo there is this article about my own experiences engaging locally
I can now happily report that my own beginners homeopathy course, under auspice of the local polytech, is about to be taught for a fourth time in less than a year and has created a homeopathy study group complete with lending library and incredible (and growing) local community support.
If we can do it you can too !
LOVE to know your experiences here too please, AND I am always on the lookout for homeopaths succeeding in their practice which is ultimately built on respect for the individual - if you would like your story shared get in touch !
‘In contrast to frequent claims, the available Meta Analyses of homoeopathy in placebo-controlled randomised trials for any indication show significant positive effects beyond placebo. Compared to other medical interventions, the quality of evidence for efficacy of homoeopathy was similar or higher than for 90% of interventions across medicine. Accordingly, the efficacy evidence from placebo-controlled randomised trials provides no justification for regulatory or political actions against homoeopathy in health-care systems.’1
