I'd argue that it's perhaps even worse -- because allopathics at least are just impacting the chemistry of a person -- while homeopathics hit on the bioenergetic level.
I have clients who have come to me after seeing a practitioner who gave homeopathics according to protocols. The results are not pretty, and it's not that easy to undo.
And yes, the electromagnetic processes within all living things appear to be governed by an over-arching biofield(1) - which homeopathy has always known and terms the vital force, defense mechanism etc., etc., it is this which the similar homeopathic medicine addresses via the principle of magnetic resonance(2) - and exactly why 'protocols aren't pretty... I have a paper in the works of immense and unnecessary suffering during widespread eczema induced by 'hay fever remedies' (the indiscriminate use of over a period of a few years) reversed with the similar homeopathic medicine over 12months. Just one of many, many, many reasons why I will continue to call out fauxmeopathy, nomeopathy, and instapathy as the non-homeopathic use of homeopathic medicines can result in exacerbated and indeed artificial, symptoms (I might start invoicing these peddlers directly for the misery they induce...) If only these efforts were spent finding the similimum and bothering to learn and apply theory, many thousands of 'followers' could be truly assisted, and the reputation of homeopathy somewhat restored.
