Gastro-esophageal reflux, ankyloglossia with lingual frenotomy aged eight weeks.
Main complaint Regurgitation of curdled milk 15 to 60 minutes after each feed, which started at birth.
Mild dry skin - back - from 4weeks old. Heavy perspiration cervical region. Sleeps best with arms raised. Very happy, engaged, busy baby.
Family medical history of eczema, breast cancer, depression, and herpes.
Mother took no drugs or vaccines during pregnancy. Unmedicalized home birth. Nil drugs or vaccines given. Baby is breast fed, alert, strong, growing well, and is large for his age.
Level of Health - estimated as Group A; Level 1.1 The healthiest individuals whose susceptibility to acute infections is limited. Clean air and healthy lifestyle individuals. NB: Infancy is not a Group A indicator.
Selection of symptoms with grading
CALCAREA CARBONICA - keynote of impaired nutrition manifesting in this case as vomiting of milk, spitting up milk. Profuse and easy perspiration in the cervical region. Musculoskeletal system particularly affected (ankyloglossia).2
SILICEA - Intolerance for breast milk in infants, with failure to thrive, and perspiration of the scalp, is not seen in this case.3
AETHUSA - Tendency to vomit milk easily but aversion to milk and general weakness in children is not seen in this case.4
Prescription Calcarea carbonica 10M, one (liquid) dose.
Mum happily reported that two weeks’ post dose regurgitation of curdled milk was no longer an issue.
At 13months of age, had been developing and teething without issue, with no acute illnesses, until a pin worm infection.
This set of symptoms strongly indicate Cina (where we clearly have a calc carb 'sub layer' as evidenced by our boy's lifelong tendency to heavy cervical perspiration, and sleeping posture of arms over head), and clearly show that this is not a Level 1 case (difficult to accurately define in a wee baby!) as previously evaluated.
Due to the appearance of an acute, taking into consideration that Calcarea carbonica 10M resolved the gastro-esophageal reflux, and that our boy's symptoms clearly point to Cina as the specific remedy - at this time I place our boy within Group A; Level 2.5 Occasional acutes with high fever, and clearly indicated remedy - often these people don’t require a remedy as the condition resolves independently.
Prescription Cina 10M, one (liquid) dose.
The symptoms of aggression, bruxism, and rectal itch associated with pin worms returned in Dec 2020 when the dose was again repeated to good effect with no report of aggravation after either dose of Cina 10M which supports Group A; Level 2 as does the fact that each dose has removed all of the symptoms it was originally prescribed for.6
Observation 2: The person feels much better in every aspect, but there is little or no aggravation. This reaction confirms this boy belongs to Group A, Level 2, with an imperceptible aggravation, followed by a recovery of several months, followed by no return of symptoms for 15months after administration of the second dose.7
Both of the boys parents were fired from their jobs in 2021 due to their refusal to take the mandated COVID-19 mRNA Biological Injection, which is the suspected reason for the development of the following symptoms where Antimonium crudum 1M was prescribed.
Vithoulkas8 makes reference to the fact that around 40% of babies require Calc carb, and that as the child grows the need for calcium decreases, resulting in one of three outcomes. Applicable to this boy is likely a calcium absorption problem which was not corrected and therefore accompanied by new layers of disease disturbance, giving rise to subsequent 'layers of disturbance 'and invoking the idea of an underlying miasm. Miasm starts to take effect as descent through the Levels of Health begins, the individual becoming overloaded with hereditary predispositions begins the slow progression towards chronic disease.9
