Sarah Penrose homeopath & researcher
Hi there! My complementary medicine education started in New Zealand when I was 19 years old (over half my lifetime ago!) and I began working as a qualified homeopath in 2010 aged 27. One year later I relocated to the remote Pilbara region, establishing the first homeopathic practice in North Western Australia.
Sustaining myself as an outback homeopath as a solo lady was an ongoing challenge which I now call my ‘decade of dedication’ - investing countless hours supporting people with and through their health challenges. The aftermath of the anti-science NHMRC 2015 homeopathy review included loss of status and health insurance clinic rebates. Having cut my teeth through significant adversity via seriously hard work added up to the best foundation - aka ‘10,000 hours to competence’ - for a young homeopath finding her feet.
I am now armed with three qualifications in homeopathy and twelve years of tenacious experience working with common & complex health issues in people of all ages. I am registered with both the Australian Register of Homeopaths & the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths, and examples of my highly regarded results-based work, including peer-reviewed papers(1,2) have been published.
Research Portfolio Lead - Australian Homeopathic Association.
I was awarded a Bachelor of Science (with honours) in Homeopathy in 2021, and elected by the Australian Homeopathic Association National Council to the role of Research Portfolio Lead in 2022. Dissemination of quality homeopathy data via research findings is crucial in our current era of ‘scientism’ where manipulative tactics are often employed to manufacture doubt and create uncertainty to better serve corporate interests(3) corrupting the entire premise of evidence based medicine(4).
Research Scholar, Similia - The Australian Journal of Homeopathic Medicine.
Being named Research Scholar by the editor of Similia - The Australian Journal of Homeopathic Medicine in 2022 offers the platform for regular research updates and commentary to professional homeopaths striving to improve their clinical outcomes and providing data to publicize & promote evidence based homeopathy to the wider public.
Medicine.
Modern medicine is in crisis due to the greed, arrogance and illegal experimentation upon all people, animals, and plants for over fifty years by the pharmaceutical cartel (and others) enabled by our own blind obeisance to the bureaucratically endorsed white coated brand of scientism.
Homeopathy is a hotly debated but often used personalized therapy which can significantly improve quality of life(5-7) using substances sourced from nature(8). Homeopathic medicines (with few exceptions) are not patented - they belong to humanity - and when judiciously prescribed have an unmatched ability to serve and effect all facets of what it is to be a living being on Earth in people, animals, and plants.
